There's a lot of work in a cupcake

I spent most of the jubilee weekend in a mixed state of mind. Sunday, the pageant, was to be a highlight - instead I found myself saddened by the cruel British weather that turned a unique historical event in to one of endurance. Monday's concert was a much better affair and Tuesday's parade was good on the eye. But what struck me most was the work involved.

Pay Walls or Advertising?

Recently egamingreview magazine became a paid, subscriber only website. One of the bastions of the egaming industry, successfully covering the sector for years now, with events such as the Power 50, annual awards etc, and their daily (if sometimes a little late) alerts, this important title is taking a leaf out of the Murdoch's lead in erecting a pay wall. Will it succeed?
